Musea is designed as a quiet art puzzle experience. We want the privacy policy to feel just as clear: the core app works without accounts, progress is primarily kept on your device, and notifications are optional.

Who we are

Musea is an iPhone and iPad app published by FCH Technology. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, visit this website, or contact us for support.

Musea is built to be usable without signing up for an account or creating a public profile.

Information stored on your device

Musea stores app settings and gameplay state locally on your device so the app can remember things like theme choice, sound settings, solved paintings, onboarding state, and reminder preference.

Information you send us directly

If you contact us at musea-support@fchtechnology.com, we receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address and support request.

Permissions

Musea may request notification permission if you choose to enable gentle reminders. Musea does not require account access, photo access, contacts access, location access, or similar personal permissions for its core puzzle experience.

  • To let you continue where you left off and keep the experience consistent.
  • To send a gentle reminder only if you choose to enable notifications.
  • To respond to support emails and fix issues you report.

Notifications and reminders

Gentle reminders are optional. If you allow notifications, Musea may schedule an occasional local reminder encouraging you to return to the app. You can turn reminders off at any time in Musea settings or in iPhone/iPad settings.

If you do not grant notification permission, Musea will continue to work normally without reminders.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. The core Musea experience does not require us to receive your local puzzle progress from your device.

Some interactions may involve third parties you choose to use, such as Apple services, the App Store, or your email provider when you contact support or open an external link.

Retention

Data stored locally in Musea remains on your device until it is removed by the app, by resetting the device, or by deleting the app. Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, maintain support history, or comply with legal obligations.

Children's privacy

Musea is intended to be approachable for a broad audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly through support email, please contact us and we will review the request.
